Plan B Club & Grill , West Ashley, Savannah Hwy 17S. past I-526 on rt. $30 (Review from Sunday: We met a variety of dancers from students to experts to wise instructors. The Bands were stellar yet down to earth & approachable, especially Vocalist of the Year, Rhonda McDaniel, who graciously made all the rounds after her set. In fact, everyone made the rounds: locals, students, new transplants, and visitors from SC, NC, Georgia, Ohio, NY, a half Canadian, and more. First name bases picture taking led to last names to friend on Facebook ; then trip/dance planning; sailing around the world; Doctors, X-Rays, and Insane Asylums. What in the world is going on? A timeless vibrant culture boosted by Harriet and past & present loyalists at the Charleston Beach Music & Shag Preservation Society of SC. How sweet it is – nice to meet you Honey, Sugar, Dora, Harriet, Cynthia, Liz, Julie, Andy, Jerry, Lynn, Rhonda, Jerry, Catherine, Mike, Sarah, Elizabeth…(Oh yeah, great Philly Cheese Steak Sub at Plan B!)
