– Mar 25-27,   2011 BikeBike Southeast –  Dan, and the gang and out-of-town guests will be all over downtown for a weekend to make good friends at events, ride, learn/workshops, share tasty food, dancing, volunteer, etc.   Holy City Bike Coop: An oasis on King Street. Empowering individuals everyday with the basics, “try my wrench, take my spare tire, cheers, you did it, we did it…” Grass roots, progressive, TRENDSETTERS. Big or small, DAN & the gang helps ‘em all. FACEBOOK .


–  Mar 26, 10am – 4pm, American Indian Expo at Charles Town Landing (a few miles over Ashley River, 1500 Old Town Road, 843-852-4200). Includes crafts, food, games, exhibits/village, a champion dancer,Daniel Tramper.

–  Mar 26, starts at noon: 100th birthday of Tennessee Williams (free), “Threshold Repertory Theatre invites you to events at Memminger Auditorium, featuring guest artists from Charleston Stage, The Village Playhouse, and the College of Charleston Department of Theatre.”


–  Mar 26, 7pm  Park Circle Films <-– Go to N.Charleston to see “Parking Lot Movie.“

- The Race Started Oct 2010, France to Cape Town, S.Africa. Then to Wellington, New Zealand. Then to Brazil. He has won all 3 legs do far. He will be the 1st US Sailboat racer to Solo Around the World for the 3rd time – and hopefully win again. More astronauts have been in space then solo sailers around the world – it is that challenging.

~ May 18 The Final leg will race out of Charleston and arrive France mid June.

– In Charleston, Brad Van Liew was the Exec. Dir. of and the Spirit of SC Tall Ship – they empower > 7000 students to broaden horizons!
